Earthy Backyard Wedding from M2 Photography
Backyard weddings are my FAVE! I just love the intimate, cozy feel that most backyard weddings have. Josh and Nellie planned theirs, filled with earthy style, in just 3 weeks! I can’t even imagine planning a wedding in that short amount of time! Josh and Nellie on the other hand, pulled off an event that was very personal and charming.
They were lucky enough to be able to book one of the only three Saturdays M2 Photography had open during the entire wedding season! Melissa from M2 Photography sent me the photos from their wedding day and I couldn’t be happier to share them with you today!
Melissa: I love that Nellie and Josh never lost themselves in their planning and made their day about them.
Congratulations to Josh & Nellie!… And Bravo for pulling together such a lovely wedding day in only 3 weeks!!

Engagement & Wedding from Tessa Rice Photography!
Scheduling an engagement shoot with your wedding photographer is a great idea. My guess is that the majority of people out there are not used to having a professional photographer around snapping pictures all day. I’m certainly not! Doing an engagement shoot with the same photographer that will be doing your wedding photos is a great way to get comfortable working with them. Not only will you be able to build a relationship with your photographer and get to know their style, it will also relieve some of the pressure of being in front of the camera for the first time on your wedding day.
Jennifer and and Matt decided to have Tessa Rice Photography work with them for both their engagement shoot and wedding. Tessa first met up with the couple for a sweet little engagement shoot in downtown Atlanta.
Jennifer and Matt had an intimate candle lit ceremony followed by a lovely reception with family and friends. Thanks for sharing their wedding photos with us, Tessa!
Congratulations newly-weds!

One side of my family is very Irish so St. Patrick’s Day was never overlooked in my house growing up. There was always plenty of Irish bread, a boiled dinner, shamrocks galore and the family dressed in green. When I was really young my mom would even add a little green food coloring to our breakfast! At the moment the thought of green milk and cream cheese isn’t all that appetizing… but as a little kid it was SUPER cool!
So in the spirit of St. Patty’s Day, here is some green wedding inspiration for all of you brides out there with Irish roots! Enjoy
Wedding Veil Inspiration
There are so many varieties of styles, lengths and embellishments when it comes to wedding veils. The veil you choose to wear on your wedding day will depend on your wedding dress, wedding style and personal style. From short birdcage veils to extra long veils… there’s a lot to consider! Below are a handful of different styles for inspiration. What style veil will you be wearing?
Lots of brides today skip the veil altogether and opt for a hair accessory instead.

Real Wedding: Tori & Jeremiah
Earlier today I shared Tori and Jeremiah’s engagement photos from Charity Remington Photography. Well, I’m back with more of Charity’s photos from the couple’s wedding! Just like their engagement sesh, their wedding day was filled with bright and colorful details!
Charity: Just to be at Tori and Jeremiah’s Wedding, you can see that they knew exactly what they wanted. Something simple, DIY, and Personal. The ceremony took place at a local park, by the perfect tree, down the road from Tori’s Family House where a simple reception was held for close family and friends. In every corner were pops of color, playful accessories, and Etsy Purchases… Absolutely Perfect!!!!
After Tori’s wedding dress order was completely messed up at the last minute, a gracious friend gave her the dress she ended up wearing. The dress was perfect! Combine the beautiful dress with the fashionably carefree style of the wedding party… add some colorful DIY details and you have one heck of an adorable wedding!!
Congratulations Tori & Jeremiah!

Cupcakes: Butter Cream Cupcakery
The top portion of the cake and all cookies where baked by Tori herself. The cake topper, pinwheels, popcorn boxes, dress sash, and veil where all purchased from Etsy shops. The food was cooked by the Family and flowers where piked up at a local grocery store. Tori had her hair done by her friend Lacy (who was also a Bridesmaid) and guests danced the night away to Jeremiah’s Ipod.

Wedding Cupcake Inspiration!
A wedding cake says a lot about a couple. Wedding cakes today come in all shapes and sizes! Some are very traditional – all white with a simple design. Others are brightly colored with intricate designs. It really depends on the couple’s taste and the style of the wedding.
A very popular option for the modern bride is having cupcakes instead of a wedding cake! Cupcakes are a lovely addition to any wedding day. They are easy to serve to your guests and a great way to provide different flavor options. They can even be homemade!
You still have the option for customization and beautiful designs when it comes to cupcakes. Just look below to see different ideas for cupcakes at your wedding.
