What inspired you to start your business?
I originally was attending film school to be a computer animator and dreamed of working on animated feature films. As part of our curriculum, I took a video production course and I just flat out fell in love with video editing and from that point forward was determined to figure out how to make it my life’s work.
What options for customization do you offer?
We basically have a generalized package that includes what we feel most of our clients have asked for through the years. We build upon that core package anything and everything that our couples want to make it suit their particular needs.
If you could give one tip to couples who are planning a wedding, what would it be?
Aside from hiring a cinematographer? Hire at least a day of wedding planner! I can’t tell you how many times the poor photographer has had to take on that role because there was not a wedding planner. It also reduces the stress of the bride on the day of. But … be careful and make sure your planner isn’t a “timeline” planner. The timeline is great to have, but it should be flexible and allow for delays and setbacks. Having a wedding planner become overly anxious because you are not adhering to their idea of the timeline is no stress reliever for sure.
What is something that most people don’t know about your biz/you?
Not many secrets here with our business … we are pretty straight forward and want to make sure there are no surprises for our couples. But an interesting tidbit of information about me is that I have an identical twin sister. I’m the artist and she’s an accountant!
What is your one must-have item/product/tool to have on-hand when you’re working?
Stablization equipment (monopod, tripod, etc.) You don’t see a whole lot of un-intentional camera shake in feature films, so I wouldn’t want it to show up in our client’s work either.
If you had to choose one word (or phrase) to describe yourself/your business what would it be?

Go Green…Literally!
Are you thinking about having an Eco Friendly wedding and you have a laundry list of all the compost-able materials, recycled items and wedding favors that keep on giving; however, you are torn about your decor options?!?
Have you ever considered going green?… Literally, with your wedding day decor!?! If you haven’t, hopefully the photos below will help inspire and encourage you to consider using wheat grass as your main foliage for your wedding day!
There are many options with wheat grass… you can use it as a centerpiece, a place-card holder, a bed to serve hors d’oeuvre, etc… The options are endless. Until you actually see wheat grass used in a wedding, you tend to under estimate its beautiful impact.
Whichever you decide, just have fun with it… those are the little subtle touches that will have your guests talking for years, especially if it something that means a lot to you and your new spouse and will help to identify who you are as a couple.
Pink Champagne Weddings
Many brides have trouble picking out color palettes, we can all see why. Wedding colors set the tone for the entire wedding. One color palette that never seems to fail is pink and champagne. Pink and champagne seem to be made for each other, the softness of both colors accent one another and create a delicate, luxurious feel that no other color combo can create.
Consider having pale pink flowers mixed with shades of ivory and peach to flourish your wedding day. Have your bridesmaids wear champagne color bridesmaid dresses, add in some bubbles and your have yourself a pink champagne wedding day!

Real Wedding: Tori & Jeremiah
Earlier today I shared Tori and Jeremiah’s engagement photos from Charity Remington Photography. Well, I’m back with more of Charity’s photos from the couple’s wedding! Just like their engagement sesh, their wedding day was filled with bright and colorful details!
Charity: Just to be at Tori and Jeremiah’s Wedding, you can see that they knew exactly what they wanted. Something simple, DIY, and Personal. The ceremony took place at a local park, by the perfect tree, down the road from Tori’s Family House where a simple reception was held for close family and friends. In every corner were pops of color, playful accessories, and Etsy Purchases… Absolutely Perfect!!!!
After Tori’s wedding dress order was completely messed up at the last minute, a gracious friend gave her the dress she ended up wearing. The dress was perfect! Combine the beautiful dress with the fashionably carefree style of the wedding party… add some colorful DIY details and you have one heck of an adorable wedding!!
Congratulations Tori & Jeremiah!

Cupcakes: Butter Cream Cupcakery
The top portion of the cake and all cookies where baked by Tori herself. The cake topper, pinwheels, popcorn boxes, dress sash, and veil where all purchased from Etsy shops. The food was cooked by the Family and flowers where piked up at a local grocery store. Tori had her hair done by her friend Lacy (who was also a Bridesmaid) and guests danced the night away to Jeremiah’s Ipod.

A wedding cake says a lot about a couple. Wedding cakes today come in all shapes and sizes! Some are very traditional – all white with a simple design. Others are brightly colored with intricate designs. It really depends on the couple’s taste and the style of the wedding.
A very popular option for the modern bride is having cupcakes instead of a wedding cake! Cupcakes are a lovely addition to any wedding day. They are easy to serve to your guests and a great way to provide different flavor options. They can even be homemade!
You still have the option for customization and beautiful designs when it comes to cupcakes. Just look below to see different ideas for cupcakes at your wedding.
