Earthy Backyard Wedding from M2 Photography
Backyard weddings are my FAVE! I just love the intimate, cozy feel that most backyard weddings have. Josh and Nellie planned theirs, filled with earthy style, in just 3 weeks! I can’t even imagine planning a wedding in that short amount of time! Josh and Nellie on the other hand, pulled off an event that was very personal and charming.
They were lucky enough to be able to book one of the only three Saturdays M2 Photography had open during the entire wedding season! Melissa from M2 Photography sent me the photos from their wedding day and I couldn’t be happier to share them with you today!
Melissa: I love that Nellie and Josh never lost themselves in their planning and made their day about them.
Congratulations to Josh & Nellie!… And Bravo for pulling together such a lovely wedding day in only 3 weeks!!

Engagement & Wedding from Tessa Rice Photography!
Scheduling an engagement shoot with your wedding photographer is a great idea. My guess is that the majority of people out there are not used to having a professional photographer around snapping pictures all day. I’m certainly not! Doing an engagement shoot with the same photographer that will be doing your wedding photos is a great way to get comfortable working with them. Not only will you be able to build a relationship with your photographer and get to know their style, it will also relieve some of the pressure of being in front of the camera for the first time on your wedding day.
Jennifer and and Matt decided to have Tessa Rice Photography work with them for both their engagement shoot and wedding. Tessa first met up with the couple for a sweet little engagement shoot in downtown Atlanta.
Jennifer and Matt had an intimate candle lit ceremony followed by a lovely reception with family and friends. Thanks for sharing their wedding photos with us, Tessa!
Congratulations newly-weds!

Wedding Inspiration: Kelly Green
One side of my family is very Irish so St. Patrick’s Day was never overlooked in my house growing up. There was always plenty of Irish bread, a boiled dinner, shamrocks galore and the family dressed in green. When I was really young my mom would even add a little green food coloring to our breakfast! At the moment the thought of green milk and cream cheese isn’t all that appetizing… but as a little kid it was SUPER cool!
So in the spirit of St. Patty’s Day, here is some green wedding inspiration for all of you brides out there with Irish roots! Enjoy

Save the Date: Business Cards
A common wedding detail that is fun to customize is the Save the Date wedding announcement. Engaged couples around the world are looking for new and inexpensive ways to plan for their big day. Here is an idea that is a great money saver is also very easy to do.
Instead of sending out the traditional save-the-date wedding announcements, think of using business cards! These can be custom designed and either passed out to friends and family members on your guest list or mailed out at a low cost.
Business card save-the- date wedding announcements can be saved in your guests’ wallets to take with them wherever they go. This is a lovely idea because it is innovative ad budget friendly. What engaged couple doesn’t love an idea that will be favorable to their wallets? Business cards save-the-dates can easily be customized and ordered online through websites like Overnight Prints and 48 Hour Print .
Happy Planning

There are so many varieties of styles, lengths and embellishments when it comes to wedding veils. The veil you choose to wear on your wedding day will depend on your wedding dress, wedding style and personal style. From short birdcage veils to extra long veils… there’s a lot to consider! Below are a handful of different styles for inspiration. What style veil will you be wearing?
Lots of brides today skip the veil altogether and opt for a hair accessory instead.
Weekend Playlist: Colbie Caillat
Happy Friday! One of my favorite ways to kick off the weekend is with a fun playlist. I figured some of you might feel the same way… So why not share the tunes? Today I’m in the mood for some happy pop songs to sing along to so I’ve pulled together a lil’ playlist by Colbie Caillat! Since her first album, Colbie has been known for her catchy love songs… many of which would be the perfect soundtrack for a save the date, engagement or wedding video!
Have a lovely weekend. Enjoy!
What love songs will you be rockin’ out to this weeknd?
